Announcing End of Life for AKCP sensorProbe2, sensorProbe4 & sensorProbe8

AKCP have announced the immediate end of life of their sensorProbe2, sensorProbe4 and sensorProbe8 environment monitors.

OPENXTRA have supplied the sensorProbe2 to our customers since 2006 so it is with some regret that it has come to the end of its life. Thankfully, AKCP have the sensorProbe+ monitors as replacements. The big difference with the sensorProbe2 is that the sensorProbe+ range all support optional 4G cellular modems. Extremely helpful when you need to monitor your environment is locations without fixed networks or you require out of band alerting via text message.

Update 21 June 2022: AKCP have managed to procure a number of chipsets to construct a limited number of sensorProbe4, sensorProbe8, sensorProbe8-20 and sensorProbe8-X60 monitors. If you would like to purchase the environment monitors, please get in touch.
