The ThermaGuard can store up to four 20 digit telephone numbers in memory and will dial up sequentially each emergency number three times or until somebody answers and enters the 4 digit PIN code. The unit incorporates a number of prgrammable features including the ability to enter a ten second personal identification message, a user PIN code, high and low temeratures and an alarm time delay feature to help avoid false alarms. Each ThermaGuard includes a four hour battery power back-up power supply for emergency use when the power failure alarm is activated.

securityProbe 5E is a full feature intelligent complete environmental monitor. The new securityProbe 5E which replaces the securityProbe8 now features a faster 520 MHz processor, 2 Gigs of SD Flash (field upgradable to 16 Gigs) and 4 expansion ports so that it can support up to an amazing 600 sensors using low cost expansion units. This includes a wide range of sophisiticated sensor options, including power monitoring and up to four remote controlled cameras inputs on the unit. It offers sophisticated alerting via email, SMS, web-browser and other channels so that alerts can be sent even when the network goes down, and can take automatic corrective action such as server shutdown.

securityProbe 5E saves you the cost and hassle of installing a separate software application to monitor your environmental conditions.

securityProbe 5E has all the software you require built-in. It logs your probe readings and alarms when things go outside parameters you specify using the easy to use Notification Wizard.

Any of the eight ports present on the securityProbe 5E can be used to plug in any of the wide range of AKCP probes, including temperature, combined temperature & humidity, wetness, airflow, smoke, motion, power, combined siren & strobe light alarm.

4 individual expansion ports allow connection and daisy-chaining of the E-opto16 (16 opto isolated dry contact inputs) and/or the E-sensor8 (8 intelligent sensor ports)

The securityProbe 5E has many advanced features like camera support, environmental mapping, mobile phone support, video conferencing and easy to configure advanced alerting including automatic shutdown/power up features.

All AKCP probes use CAT5 cable so can be extended away from the main unit over your existing structured cabling infrastructure. You can make best use of your securityProbe8 investment to monitor multiple locations without the need to install new non-standard wiring.

Intelligent Probes

Camera Support

The securityProbe 5E can display pictures from up to four cameras simultaneously up to 640x480 pixel resolution.

Professional quality analogue surveillance and CCTV cameras can be used. Built-in pan-tilt controller interface allows complete control of pan and tilt cameras using the industry standard Pelco-D bus.

When using the built-in simultaneous mode, images from all 4 cameras can be displayed at the same time. Pictures are updated every 5 seconds on all 4 camera channels simultaneously. In scan mode, a single image is displayed in rotation from each camera.

For video streaming, both ActiveX and JavaApplet web applets are available. For a single camera, the maximum frame rate is 30 frames per second at 320x240 pixels. The frame rate depends on the number of camera channels in use, image size (320x240 or 640x480 pixels), and network speed.

The securityProbe 5E has a single input and output port for audio. The audio input uses a Line-In signal. If you wish to connect a microphone, make sure it is amplified. The connector for both input and output is a 3.5mm stereo jack, though only mono is supported. The output signal is 5Vp-p with sampling frequency of 8 kHz.

Video Conferencing

The securityProbe 5E can be used as a video conferencing system. Simply connect an external camera and use the integrated speaker and microphone for communication. Perfect for communicating with people in remote data centres where phone lines may be at a premium.

Environmental Mapping

When probe information is presented in list form it can be difficult to get a true understanding of what is really going on.

With the Mapping Module on the securityProbe8 you can graphically display the probe status on a map of your choice.

You will then have a very simple, non-technical method of discovering exactly where problems lie.

Notification Wizard

The Notification Wizard makes configuring the powerful alerting system a breeze. Configuration has been made completely intuitive and natural. Alerts are configured simply by choosing a sensor, choosing your conditions and what action(s) you want to take. If you wanted to monitor when the Temperature in your server room rises above 60 degrees and have an e-mail to the support team sent, it's now just as easy as saying it.

Notification is based around three items: the probe, the status of the probe and the action(s) to be performed. The Notification Wizard walks you step by step through each item to create a new notification in seconds, not minutes.

You may already have an alarming and alerting system you use for monitoring your network infrastructure. The securityProbe 5E will fit right in giving you instant knowledge of what’s going on in your data centre environment.

Mobile Phone Access

No matter where you are you can access the securityProbe 5E through your Symbian based (mostly Nokia) mobile phone.

You can access your probe and video information from where you happen to be. No computer required. Perfect for checking up on your securityProbe 5E from out on the road to double check the environmental conditions back at base.

Just download the simple mobile application, input the IP address of your securityProbe 5E and off you go.

Once connected to your securityProbe 5E you can view live streaming video, monitor live probe readings and check for alerts.

You can connect to your securityProbe 5E via Bluetooth using the optional Bluetooth dongle.

The STE Environment Monitor is a low-cost device which will allow you to monitor the temperature (sensor included) and humidity in small IT rooms, pharmaceutical environments, air-conditioning, coolers and freezers and more crucially will send an alert by email should the temperature or humidity vary outside the limits you have set.

The STE will accomodate up to 2 temperature or humidity sensors, has a built-in web server interface so that you can view data from anywhere and supports SNMP so that you can integrate it with your Network Management System (NMS) if desired; and because it connects directly to your Ethernet network you don't need a PC to run the STE. In addition the STE is password protected and easy to expand to monitor multiple locations.

TemPageR 3E is a rack-mount temperature monitor for monitoring of computer rooms, datacentres, laboratory or other sensitive environment. Alerts can be set up via email, email-to-SMS, SNMP or webpage to alert to changes in temperature so that action can be taken to prevent damage caused by extreme temperatures, and a built-in web browser allows the user to view temperatures or sensor status from any web browser or to change settings from/to remote locations. AKCP’s securityProbe-X20 is a full-featured complete SNMP based environmental and security monitoring solution capable of monitoring and alerting via email and SMS to events such as unauthorised intruders, security breaches, equipment breakdown, high temperatures, power outage, smoke and flooding and can even take automatic corrective action.

The securityProbe-X20 works with all AKCP intelligent sensors. The integrated data and graphing package is also useful for spotting trends and for analysis.

Sensor Notification Wizard

When an event occurs, the securityProbe-X20 can send SNMP traps, email, SMS, MMS, make a telephone call, and create an audio alert. These alert messages are customisable and can include a picture of the event. Event alert information can also include pictures which are stored in a nonvolatile flash memory. The number of pictures taken and the time between pictures can also be determined for each camera. The timestamp is displayed below each image. The securityProbe-X20 has a battery backed-up clock to facilitate accurate record keeping.

Notifications and alarms can be dependant on the states of multiple sensors and can be configured to escalate inseverity over time.

The securityProbe-X20 can automatically switch a relay on or off, wake-up or shut down a remote server, send pictures and data via FTP, send a fax or run a custom script.

SensorProbe2 is an easy to use, very economical complete environment monitor for alerting to changes in temperature, humidity, flooding and much more. This is an ideal solution to monitor and alert to temperature and overheating problems in small computer and server rooms. With built-in web-based software, the AKCP SensorProbe2 gives you an easy to use sophisticated Notification Wizard to alert to changes and to log and graph data.

The SensorProbe2 has 2 ports which can be used for any of the large range of plug in AKCP sensors (see above), including temperature, combined temperature & humidity, wetness, airflow, smoke, motion, power, combined siren & strobe light alarm.  Not only that but probes can be placed up to 100m from the main unit via the structured cabling network and the unit will automatically find the probes.

Please note that the SensorProbe2 is supplied without probes (full range below).

AKCP SensorProbe2 contains all of the software you require and is very simple and quick to set up. It logs your sensor readings and alarms when things go outside parameters you specify using the easy to use web administration system.

All AKCP environment monitors are fully extendable, new probes can be added at any time and multiple units, for instance, a SecurityProbe and SensorProbe2 can be monitored together using third party software.

Fact: Environment threats can cause more damage to your datacentre equipment than hardware or software problems, and even running equipment at temperatures just slightly higher than optimum can cause long term intermittent malfunctioning.

The Sensatronics Model F is an easy to use temperature monitor that connects to your computer via the serial port (RS232), giving you a convenient and flexible method of tracking the temperature in up to 2 locations at a time.

To set up alerts via email or SMS or to remotely log and graph data, the Model F can be managed using Intellipool. A variety of probe options enables you to monitor up to 2 separate locations per unit with standard or heavy duty probes.

When You Should Use the Model F

An ideal application for the Model F is for the logging of temperature where constant monitoring or attachment to a network is not a requirement, for instance for compliance with statutory regulations eg. in healthcare or food hygiene. The Model F is also easy to programme to integrate with your own software.

The Sensatronics E16 is a simple, easy to use, fully scaleable remote temperature monitor that connects directly to your organisation's IT network. Probes placed where desired collect temperature data and report back to the monitor. The data can be viewed remotely using the monitor's in-built web-server.

To set up alerts via email or SMS or to remotely log and graph data, the E16 can be managed using Intellipool or your existing SNMP based Network Management Application. A variety of probe options enables you to monitor up to 16 separate locations per unit with standard or heavy duty probes.

When You Should Use the Sensatronics E16
