The P-touch 18R from Brother is just what the busy office needs. It's a fully rechargeable, portable labeling machine that can be used stand-alone or connected to a PC.

Enhanced performance from simple to use software

With the facility of PC connectability, labels can be created and edited using Brother’s superior label editing software, P-touch Editor 4 and P-touch Quick Editor.

Installation of this software supplied with the machine is both quick and easy, and will allow you to create professional customized labels with ease. The P-touch 18R will enable you to create labels for any of the following:

A large printing area makes every label easy to read, and printing on five lines means you can include as much detail as you like When connected to your computer, you can access all of the fonts installed on your PC, or choose from four different font styles stored on the machine when used in stand alone mode. Choose up to 8 different type style combinations plus framing, vertical, mirror and underlining when used in stand alone mode.

Tape options

If you label something you want the label to look good and to last. Brother’s TZ labels are specifically designed to be hardwearing P-touch labels are ideal for use both inside and outside in all weather conditions. They are able to withstand temperatures from –50°c to 300°c, this means the labels are resistant to freezing conditions and direct sunlight so they won't fade.

P-touch labels can be created in a range of colours.

As well as durable TZ tape, the range also includes the following tapes:

• Strong Adhesive Tape -- to give improved adhesion for those even more demanding applications and environments. In tests, this tape has shown improved performance on materials including: stainless steel, glass, PVC, acrylic, polypropylene and polyester-coated wood.
• Flexi ID tape -- ideal for cylindrical surfaces.
• Metallic Tape -- reflective aluminium effect label, ideal for use on valuables.
• Security Tape -- designed to leave a checkerboard pattern, to indicate that the label has been peeled off.

TZ tapes available for use with the P-touch PT18R range from widths of 6mm to 18mm. With the extra space available in 18mm tape, you can incorporate sizeable images into the label design, or print small labels vertically so that the tape itself will last much longer.

The P-touch PT18R is also the ideal machine for printing durable bar code labels.
