The AKCP daiyTemp is a daisy-chainable digital temperature sensor designed to maximise the temperature monitoring capacity of the AKCP SecurityProbe.
Up to 8 daisyTemp sensors can be linked together and plugged into one SecurityProbe Sensor port enabling the unit to measure, monitor and alert to a maximum of 64 temperature points. The daisyTemp measures temperature in the range -55-+75°C with a ±0.5°C accuracy.
Collected temperature values can be used to trigger alerts like e-mail, SMS (with GSM modem or email to SMS service), phone calls and SNMP traps. With the securityProbe unique mapping feature you can place these sensors on a map so you can quickly identify where you may have hotspots. Each temperature sensor has its own SNMP OID so that the data can also be collected over the network using your network management system.
Each daisyTemp comes with 1.52m (5 Ft) sensor cable. The sensor cables can also be extended using Ethernet cable with a maximum daisy-chain length of 152m.
