Plan-Um AP (Advanced Planning) is a professional planning and documentation application for cabling installation. You can lay out customer floor plans in minutes, create comprehensive Cable Test Reports, label cable runs as you test them and save jobs for future rework or changes. Clear graphics and menus mean that you can create plans quickly and simply.
NB: Plan-Um AP offers a choice of the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
- Lay out your customers’ floor plans in minutes, or import AutoCad or Visio images of existing site drawings. Name and save each job as you create it.
- Populate each floor plan with specific ports (network, telephone, coax, etc.), then connect them with cable runs. Choose cable types from a drop-down menu (CAT 5, 5E, 6, RG6, etc.).
- As each cable run is created, it is added to a comprehensive Cable Test Report that shows To and From locations of the run, and other important testing and labelling information. Test each cable, using Test-Um or other network testers, then fill in the results on the Cable Test Report.
- Print the layout and cable test schedule, for the customer and/or or your records.
- Print custom labels to identify cable runs as you test them. Plan-Um AP is compatible with Brother label printers.
- Save named and numbered jobs for future reference. Crucial information can be recalled instantly for accurate rework or changes due to moves and additions. Histories of all installations can be updated and reviewed.
