The Pinger Plus+ Network IP Test Tool is a new handheld tester for installing, maintaining and trouble-shooting Local Area Networks (LANs) running TCP/IP. When you connect Pinger Plus+, the inbuilt DHCP client automatically configures the tester for immediate use on your network. Immediately begin PINGing local or remote IP devices with the first tester to provide Gigabit over copper link testing.

The Profile feature allows up to eight different test setups (including source and destination IP address, subnet mask and gateway address) to be pre-programmed. Having Profiles allows a user to quickly test large networks with multiple VLANs.
The Pinger Plus also identifies reversed polarity for improperly connected wire pairs and provides a Port Identification feature with selectable blink rates to identify which port on a hub or switch that a wall outlet is connected.
Applications
The Psiber Pinger Plus is an ideal tool for quickly testing proper LAN operation after a Move, Add or Change. Trouble calls are easily handled by verifying link connection and running the comprehensive PING test. Resolve "I can't connect to the Internet" problems with DHCP Client mode that ensures a DHCP Server is available and displays the assigned IP address. Provide remote office support by connecting the PINGER to the LAN at the remote office trouble spot and then PING the unit over the Internet or Intranet.
Verify end-to-end operations prior to installing workstations using two units to PING each other.
