The process of testing a network installation to ensure that it meets specified standards requires that hard copy documentation be produced as proof of adherence to these standards. The WaveTester kits have been designed to ensure that an installed network will perform as it was designed and that such standards have been met.
- Certification of multimode fibre links at 850nm and 1300nm
- Automatic reference and data point storage
- Data storage for up to 200 data points
- RS-232 interface for continuous data logging, report printing or data downloading
- OWL Reporter software for printing formatted fibre certification reports
- Measurement modes for absolute (for optical power) or relative (for optical loss)
The WaveTester optical power meter is multimode and singlemode ready and can store reference values for all wavelengths used for optical loss measurements. Fibre runs may be stored and downloaded via a PC serial port for report generation.
The WaveSource 850/1300 is a multimode light source. Its dual wavelength outputs (850 and 1300nm) are temperature stabilized for accurate measurement. It is supplied with ST or SC connector options.
