Poseidon Environment Monitor Package with SMS Alerts

Alert via SMS message with the Poseidon 3265 GSM2 Tset simple stand-alone environment monitoring package. Monitors temperature and/or humidity and sends an email or SMS alert if conditions exceed the defined range. Environment values and configuration are  accessible over the Internet as well as via several protocols.

You can still receive SMS alerts even if your Internet connectivity is down. The system is expandable by connecting additional temperature or humidity sensors and/or units (see the accessories below) or integrate it with any SNMP network management system. Ideal for monitoring smaller areas in IT, pharmaceutical or food industry environments where network-independent SMS alerting is required. One GSM modem, one Poseidon 3265 unit and one temperature sensor are included in the package.

The “Poseidon 3265 GSM2 Tset” is a complete solution. All the necessary cables are supplied, simply connect the components according to the Starting Guide, connect the Poseidon to the Ethernet and connect the power.

• Once installed, you can monitor the temperature sensor using the supplied utilities, your Internet browser, or even your PDA. If a specified temperature is exceeded, Poseidon 3265 sends you an e-mail or a SNMP trap.
• The GSM modem alerts you to a temperature outside of the specified range by sending a SMS to your mobile phone – even if the Ethernet connection is down.
• The supplied antenna connects to an antenna connector and comes with a 2m cable, so that you can place it outside of the monitored area.
