This package is ready to use out of the box solution for overheating problems in small computer and server rooms. With built-in web-based software, the SensorProbe2 gives you an easy to use sophisticated Notification Wizard to alert to changes and to log and graph data.

SensorProbe2 has 2 ports which can be used for any of the large range of sensors. This monitor is supplied with a 5ft combined temperature/humidity probe and one spare port to take another sensor such as temperature, combined temperature & humidity, wetness, airflow, smoke, motion, power, combined siren & strobe light alarm.  Not only that but probes can be placed up to 300m from the main unit via the structured cabling network and the unit will automatically find the probes.

AKCP SensorProbe2 contains all of the software you require and is very simple and quick to set up. It logs your sensor readings and alarms when things go outside parameters you specify using the easy to use web administration system.

All AKCP environment monitors are fully extendable, new probes can be added at any time and multiple units, for instance, a SecurityProbe and SensorProbe2 can be monitored together using third party software.

AKCP Combined Temperature/Humidity Probe

The probe is built using high quality CAT5 cable. Consequently you can extend the range of your probe using your existing CAT5 infrastructure. Not only does this reduce the burden of installing new cabling it also means that you can utilize your existing investment in your cabling infrastructure. The probe can be extended by up to 300m, and is auto-discovered by the sensorProbe2, perfect for monitoring remote comms rooms and server rooms.

Q: Is it feasible to route sensor traffic over the network to a single sensorProbe unit so that I can get a view of all the sites status?

No. Only the securityProbe 5e is able to read information from remote sensorProbes using the Virtual Probe feature. If you wanted to merge information from a number of different sensorProbe2s, you would need to either use a 3rd party SNMP based network monitoring application or AKCP's own management software. Something like Intellipool Network Monitor at will do this for you.
