IP9258S is a Remote IP Power Switch which will control up to 4 sockets independently over a TCP/IP Ethernet network or a web browser. Devices such as cameras, servers, PCs, or industrial applications can be switched ON, OFF, or re-booted no matter where you are without the need to be on site.
The Power Switch can even be controlled using a GPRS phone via WAP. A Timer Power Switch enables the user to pre-set power on/off schedules, useful for energy saving and the open architecture means the switch can be modified (SDK provided) to suit your own applications. This device has CE approval and is fully ROHS Compliant.

Q: Can the Aviosys IP Power 9258S be programmed to switch an outlet on/off many times in a single day (for example, once every 3 hours)?
The IP9258S can be programmed with only one event (ie on and off) per port per 24 hour period. this can be repeated every day or set by day but not many times in the same day. Of course, this can be done 'manually' form a remote location however. There is a product that will do this but with only one port and is a USB device. The Aviosys USB Net Power 8800UK can be set to power on/off every so many minutes or hours.

Q: Do you have these with UK 3 pin sockets ?
Yes, we supply these with either UK or EU power supplies depending on where the customer is, and can also supply with the C13 power supplies to connect devices as in this link IP9258S with 4 power cables

Q: Can the individual sockets be labelled on the Aviosys IP Power 9258S within the web interface?
Yes, you can label individual sockets with meaningful names. In the web interface there is a box in which you can type your own memorable labels for each socket.

Q: I'm an italian user (VAC 220V 50Hz). My need is to turn on/off remotely, through Ethernet Lan, by a Windows 7 HP O.S. PC the power of some AC devices. May I know if IP Power 9258S 4 Port Power Switch could be the product I am looking for?
Yes the IP Power 9258S power switch will work on Windows 7 and will remotely turn off and on the power of up to 4 AC devices. We can also provide you with an EU power supply as standard.
