Intelligent Power Metering Unit - Single
The smart way to intelligent AC Power Metering. High Accuracy, Certified as MID compliant Link Box provides True RMS measurements of distorted current/voltage waveform. Ideal for retrofit as well as new build, this will enable you to accurately measure your CO2 output and monitor power usage by department or by cabinet.
Install the Link Box in data cabinets already populated with non-intelligent PDU hardware to give you smart metering and remote power monitoring. In addition, because the units offer the option of using Modbus or Ethernet it is possible to use only one IP address to monitor multiple PDUs.

Q: How does the Intelligent Power Metering Unit measure CO2?
Yes it is true to say that one's CO2 footprint is dependent on the source of power, with renewable sources, hydroelectricity and nuclear having less impact. This power meter will use a fomula based on the KW/h usage to help the user monitor CO2 output, (if you wish we can see if we can obtain this from the manufacturer). The European Commision has published a guide to measuring your carbon footprint at Life Cycle Thinking and Assessment and there is a table on the relative emission factors of common fuels at Carbon Footprint.
