IP9258HP is a high performance 4 Port IP Remote Power Solution with Ping for remote control of up to 4 power outlets. WIth features like Auto Ping, Telnet, Multi event scheduler, Multilevel User Login, Blacklist Ability, and more, this device provides a great solution to remotely powering On/Off any device attached to it. And with AutoPing (Watchdog) technology, the 9258HP will automatically monitor devices and restart them if they are not responding. This not only reduces the amount of down time but also ensures that you can comtrol devices from any location with internet access.

Q: Can the IP Power 9258 be used to switch on of 6 times a day like an programable clock?

Answer:

The timer schedule limits the number of times you can switch each port on and off to once a day.

Q: How do you access the IP Power 9258HP via the internet?

Answer:

If your broadband router supports it, use port forwarding on port 80 and 443 to your local IP Power 9258HP. Then you will be able to login and control your device remotely over the internet. If your broadband router supports Dynamc DNS then you can map a host name that changes automatically whenever your broadband provider issues you a new IP address.
