Q: I'm looking for a server room monitor that can monitor three conditions: Temperature, Water and Smoke. Is there any way your unit could perform that function while remaining cost effective?
We do have a cost-effective AKCP monitor but there are limitations as to the number of sensors that can be attached. The AKCP sensorProbe2 will monitor a variety of parameters but can only take up to 2 probes maximum, so you would require 2 of these to monitor. An alternative is the AVTECH Room Alert 4ER which comes with an internal temperature sensor and can accomodate another 3 sensors (2 x digital and 1 x switch) and will take a flood sensor (RJ11 connector into the digital port) and smoke sensor (2 wire switch connector into the switch port).
