Protect buildings and equipment from water leak damage using this small self contained overflow alerting system with a remote relay trigger. If the sensor comes into contact with water an Alarm sound is triggered and a relay switched. Battery powered. Low battery warning indicator.

Applications :

Sinks, dishwashers, baths, pumps, plumbing installations, air conditioning units, basements, garages, anywhere where liquid might collect.

Controls:

Operation:

An ideal position for the sensor is on a wall adjacent to a bath tub. Detach the remote sensor and position it at a point represnting the maximum level of the water. Note that bottom of the sensor indiactes the maximum water level.

The main unit and remote can be attached using the supplied velcro pads. Ensure that the surface is clean, dust and grease free.

(a)  Insert the batteries

(b)  Set the power switch to the “ ON” position , a short audio signal sounds indicating that the device is activated.

(c)  Check the function of the device by wetting the sensor. The alert sounds for as long as the contact remains wet.

(d)  To reset switch the device dry the contacts or set the power switch to the “ OFF “ position.

Using the isolated switching contact :

(1)   Plug the supplied connecting cable for the switching contact into the jack socket

(2)   Connected a suitable relay to the open lead ends. Ensure that the maximum rated values are not exceeded.

(3)   The switching output has a closing function and is isolated.
