Xsensior Pro 2.1 Beta starts soon
We are pleased to announce a new product called Xsensior Pro that is currently nearing a beta release. We believe that you want a more "grown up" version of Xsensior Lite where you can centralise the management of your sensors. We have listened to your feedback and we have taken it on board and we believe you are going to be pleased with the result.
There is no product page yet, but we would appreciate a few select beta testers to get on board. If you have a number of Xsensior Lites and perhaps some Sensatronics devices as well that you would like to consolidate into a single console then please get in touch. More information will be forthcoming in due course. If you are an Intellipool user wondering where to go after the Kaseya takeover, then Xsensior Pro may well be what you are looking for. Especially if you only use Intellipool for monitoring your Sensatronics devices. If you use Intellipool for full network monitoring, then Xsensior Pro isn't likely to be a good choice for you.
One of the things that has unfortunately been bumped from the Xsensior Pro 2.1 release has been the remote agent functionality. The idea being that you could install any number of agents with one or more sensors on a machine and then send the data to a central console for alerting and storage purposes. As a consequence of the Intellipool situation, that we know a number of customers are concerned about, we decided to concentrate on integrating support for Sensatronics sensors into the 2.1 release and bump the agent functionality into a 2.2 release. It was quite frustrating because we were very close to having the remote agent functionality finished, but felt that having a good upgrade path for existing Sensatronics customers was a higher immediate priority.
I will explain the remote agent functionality in more detail closer to the 2.2 release.
If you want to take part in the beta program, please get in touch with Denis. We expect to be ready by mid January.
