Test-Um Customer List

Recently I had a client ask me about a wiring problem. The cabling company had tested the cables and declared them working but ‘a little noisy’. Having seem them testing with a Fluke™ unit the client asked if I could check the cabling - I handed them the Test-Um - connected the remote unit and got them to run the Cat5e test. Immediately it showed miswire (1 Nil). They also tested with their own cutdown tester (Test-Um) with the same result (2 Nil).

The cabling company were advised - confirmed the diagnosis - made the change and enquired where they could get a tester like mine&hellip

In the past we have been hiring a Fluke DSP4000 to test out our larger jobs where the customer has required test reports, and I must be honest that was the equipment we were going to purchase. However, after using the NT950 for just one day, I think it is a better piece of kit, a lot faster and easier to set up.
