Use the keyboard on your PC to easily send and receive SMS text messages to single recipients or to groups via a conventional phone line to mobiles and fixed line phones.

Please note: the Z-Text manufacturer is no longer in business. No equivalent product exists, the closest product is a GSM based SMS modem like the Teltonika USB SMS Modem.

By simply plugging the SMS Modem via USB to your PC, and following simple set-up instructions you can now send and receive SMS messages to mobiles and fixed lines and communicate with multiple recipients from a PC keyboard, there are no subscriptions or pre-payments and messages are charged to the normal telephone bill at text message rates.

Z-text consists of the Z-text messaging software and a USB SMS Modem.

The Z-text messaging software offers a familiar email client look with Inbox, Sent, Drafts, together with unlimited storage of messages.

The SMS Modem takes advantage of fixed line SMS and is compatible with BT and Kingston Communications networks in the UK and with any worldwide network supporting ES 901 912 Protocol 1. Communicate with and Update Staff in the Field

If your company needs to regularly update staff who are not easily contactable by email, or who are on the move, such as drivers, engineers or sales staff, you can now send out messages, reminders and updates to their mobiles or fixed phones from a PC with the ease of sending an email. And because there is unlimited storage of messages, you will have a record of what you sent, when and to whom.

Alerting and Alarming Systems

The SMS Modem can be used with other applications such as GSM messaging software or for integration with security monitoring systems so that you can be sure that you will be contacted the instant there’s a problem.

Temperature and Environmental Alerts

The SMS Modem integrates with Intellipool Network Monitor and Sensatronics Temperature and Environmental Monitors to alert you on your mobile or fixed phone line to changes in temperature, humidity or wetness in server rooms, cold storage, warehouses, laboratories and other environments where damage can result from air conditioning, fan or freezer breakdown.
