The E-sensor8 is a rack-mount expansion unit designed to expand and extend the monitoring capacity of the AKCP securityProbe 5E. The E-sensor8 connects to one of 4 expansion ports in the AKCP securityProbe5E main unit or can be daisy-chained up to 100m (300ft) from the main unit. Each E-sensor8 can accomodate up to 8 intelligent sensors from a wide variety of sensors such as temperature, humidity, flood, smoke etc. Addition of E-sensor8 units can expand the monitoring capacity of the AKCP securityProbe5E up to 600 probes. The slim design means that 2 E-sensor8 units can be fitted side by side in a rack.
