		<description>I think Netview and OpenNMS fall in line due to the little marketing activity done for both of them.  Tivoli monitoring even less.  HP has always been great at creating a strong eco system around Openview. The problem with IBM is that if you are not reselling thier software they really don&#039;t give a rip about you as a partner. Also, I suspect the Openview customer base dwarfs Tivoli monitoring and is probably significantly higher than Netview. Combined with the fact that  Netview and Tivoli monitoring are not $strategic$ products for IBM.  If you throw Netcool in the mix you get a little bit higher activity.

On the other hand companies like Zenoss and Hyperic put a lot of juice into the system to get higher numbers.</description>
