E-commerce filtering enhancements

Following on from the post about re-categorising the products in the online shop. Not only have we now re-organised the products (you won’t see the change until the end of the month or so) but we will be introducing a filtering mechanism too.

You’ll be able to drill down through the products, not only using the categories, but also with product features too. So, on the temperature monitoring section you’ll be able to filter by price range, interface type (network or serial) and supported probes.

You can also drill down continuously, so for example, you’ll be able to filter on the interface type to find network based monitors and then also filter on supported probes to find all of the monitors that can measure wetness for example.

I believe this will make product selection a lot easier.

Oh, and you can filter by brand (manufacturer) too!
