I thought I’d update everybody about the upcoming re-organisation of our product categories, specifically the cable testing products. Currently, the cable testers have 2 top level categories: Cable Testers and Network Testers.
As I’ve said already, we’re not happy with the current organisation.
I’ve been creating the new site and I’ve been designing the new organisation. I thought I’d share it with you so that I could get some feedback.
My proposal is to remove the Network Testers top level category and merge it into the Cable Testers category. The current Network Testers category will then be a sub-category of Cable Testers.
The Cable Testers category will then be broken down into further sub-categories like Copper, Wireless, Home and Kits. There will also be a sub-category for All Cable Testers.
Hopefully this will make finding the right cable tester a bit easier.
