About

The Tech Teapot is currently on hiatus

The Tech Teapot is focused on network & systems management in small/medium organisations and departmental level enterprise environments with particular emphasis on open source solutions.

Read this blog if you want a handle on what’s being talked about in the network & systems management world, the latest news, new tools and software, on current ideas about data centre management, emerging technologies, environmental issues or green computing.

About the Contributor

Jack Hughes is a seasoned I.T. industry veteran with 19 years experience in a number of different companies and roles. He currently specialises in network management and systems administration.

Denis Laverty & Annie Raynor make occasional appearances here too whenever they’ve got something to say. They are quiet souls though, who plainly have very little to say given that they’ve managed a handful of posts between them in the last three years. Still, I live in hope… ;)

OPENXTRA has a no-nonsense approach to network issues, we tell it like it is, and give you the best and most accurate information we can. Of course — we make money too by providing a range of environment monitors, including our own range of USB thermometers under the  Xsensior brand.

Regards,

The Tech Teapot Team
